Creating a package for a new product is a little bit like getting dressed for an interview. Preparing for a new job or role requires reflection on experience, image and message. First impressions always count, so make it great, memorable and most of all, real. It is why we have worked tirelessly on creating a label that accurately reflects our product. Casal Cristiana Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from a place we think is very special and didn't want to homogenize the brand as simply Italian. Our clients are Americans and few have traversed to Le Marche, and specifically Torre di Palme, in comparison to the well-known regions such as Tuscany. We felt it was important to project a sense of place on our label. A pretty package is not just for show, it demonstrates respect for the product. For example, when ordering a glass of fine wine, the sommelier presents the bottle to your table, to authenticate it's quality and origins before pouring in a varietal specific glass for your enjoyment. Our extra virgin olive oil is not mass produced and it's label utilizes the shield of Torre di Palme as a key element in our logo and an illustrative view of the village from Casal Cristiana to communicate it's origins. Font, colors and bottle style were selected for functionality as well as beauty. Simple elegance never goes out of style and provides a great foundation for longevity. We are so fortunate to be surrounded with talented Italian artists, Roberto Traini and Lara Matera, who have captured the look and feel for Casal Cristiana Extra Virgin Olive Oil. They enthusiastically collaborated with us on this project to create a beautiful presentation for Casal Cristiana and hope it will be proudly positioned in the kitchen for daily use.
